Youth Mental Health Canada (YMHC) is thrilled to announce our participation in the upcoming International Network for School Attendance (INSA) conference, set to take place in New Orleans, Louisiana, at the end of October. This three-day event, themed “Partnering to Advance Attendance,” will bring together passionate education and health professionals and advocates dedicated to enhancing school attendance and unlocking the transformative power of education.

YMHC’s Workshop on Supporting Students with School Phobia and Chronic Absenteeism

YMHC will present a workshop titled “School-Wide Strategies to Support Students with School Phobia, Avoidance, and Chronic School Absenteeism.” This workshop will focus on practical strategies and interventions to assist students struggling with school attendance due to mental health challenges and other factors. We aim to share insights and techniques drawn from years of experience and research to help educators and mental health professionals foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment​​​​.

Announcing the 2025 National Virtual Conference
